Playworld Systems Now Exclusive Playground Provider For National Head Start Association (NHSA)
Lewisburg, Pa. (May 11, 2009) – Playworld Systems recently announced that it is now the exclusive playground provider for the National Head Start Association (NHSA), a private non-profit membership organization working to meet the needs of Head Start children and their families. During last week’s NHSA 36th Annual Convention, a special donation of more than $25,000 was presented to the organization by representatives from Playworld.
“Playworld is pleased to have this opportunity to work with the NHSA and to provide the children in the Head Start program with the gift of play,” said Matt Miller, president of Playworld Systems. “We feel strongly about the importance of play for children and how it encourages learning, social skills and good health.”
Playworld has been the exclusive playground provider for NHSA since 2005. The companies continued efforts are helping children and families have quality outdoor play experiences, sharing in the value of play. This $25,000 donation will give NHSA the opportunity to install playgrounds at various Head Start facilities throughout the U.S.
“The NHSA is excited to have Playworld Systems as our exclusive playground provider because our passions for play strictly align,” said Michael McGrady, Deputy Director of NHSA. “Playworld Systems is an ideal partner because the company is so much more than the manufacturer of metal and parts. Their people share our values of quality and a commitment to making the lives of children better.”
